Warranty: Torrid's marine water heater is covered by a five year limited warranty against failure of the storage tank or any electrical component or mechanical part ( Copy of limited warranty is available upon request). Electrical: Torrid’s exclusive stainless sheathed elements are low watt density and designed to operate even if tank is not filled with water. The standard wattage is 1500W at 220 VAC for 15 A. fused circuit. Other voltages are available (208-240, 480 and other wattages; maximum 2000W at 120VAC and 4000W at 240VAC). Vertical 10, 15 and 17 gallons maximum wattage is 3000W. Vertical 20 gallon maximum wattage is 4000W. Horizontal 10gal maximum wattage is 4000W. Electric thermostat and safety limit combinations are rated at 30 amps at 240VAC. Elements and thermostats are U.L. component listed and the electrical system is ignition protected in accordance with US Coast Guard requirements if installed and grounded in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Mechanical: Torrid’s heavy duty glass lined tank is rated at 150 PSI working pressure and equipped with an ASME approved temperature and pressure relief valve. The storage tank is encased in a galvanized jacket with a gleaming powder coated finish and insulated with high density fiber glass.  AIR-vent outlet virtually eliminates trapped air.
